about

The Hurtin' Hearts second offering, The Cedar Hill Schoolhouse Sessions were recorded on November 10, 2012 at one of the oldest schoolhouses in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Singer-songwriter Tracy Anderson has definitely become more confident on this new EP, moving away from the more eclectic stylings of her freshman release "Squirrel On a Wire" (July 2011).

The Cedar Hill Schoolhouse Sessions are folky-story-telling songs, intermingled with the sounds of bluegrass and a touch of jazz - reminiscent of the country cowboy Petunia or the vocal hauntings of Alison Krauss. If you like melody with a bit of sophistication, you'll find it on The Cedar Hill Schoolhouse Sessions. For more information, check out the official website @ www.tracyandthehurtinhearts.com
